My 2nd published book, Oreo For President: An American Tail by Mama B McCarter, is the SEQUEL to Panther & Me!; Service Dog Curiosity Guide by the same pen name.

I am excited about this hybrid saga about a puny Shelter Dog I rescued and successfully trained to become my 4th Service Dog. This book honors Oreo Doublestuff (who succumbed to skin cancer) but also other working dogs at large. An essential catalyst to this book's storyline is the setting. In the Year 2009, I experienced a cultural triumph as a Black woman in America. With a humorous writing flair, I marry an ounce of personal truth with the creative antics of lovable animal characters. I even communicate with them using Saffy's Pick of Pickled Pickles! 

I use my signature Read-Color-Learn methods in this fundraiser book to teach healthy ways to manage disagreements highlighted in the media. I also added writing assignments & positive mantras to promote personal development. T

This book is for all generations and is very appropriate for today's socio-educational climate & makes an excellent gift for individuals & groups of children. It is a literary tool that entertains, motivates, teaches the importance of Service Animals, and reconciles humankind with itself.  Hope is Brave. Hope Survives.
